The world of laundry and dry-cleaning has entered the tech era after leading textile care company 5àsec UAE debuted its brand-new mobile phone app. Now available via the Apple store, the 5asec UAE app gives customers full control over their user experience. They can place orders with specific care instructions, track order progress, receive updates, keep a record of their spending history, and much more.

The UAE-based franchise opened its first three outlets in Dubai this year and recently announced plans to expand into Sharjah and Abu Dhabi. The company is the first of 5àsec’s global network across 32 countries to launch a consumer-focused mobile app.

Since opening its first store in Marseille in 1968, 5àsec has expanded its network across 32 countries. It made its Dubai debut this year with a store in Dubai Marina, which was soon followed up by openings on Jumeirah Beach Road and Downtown Dubai. With an extensive background in tech and e-commerce, the founding members of 5àsec UAE were keen to bring an element of tech into the way they interacted with customers.

5àsec UAE launched in February in the retail front of The Residences at Marina Gate 1 in Dubai Marina. It opened a second store, 5àsec Jumeirah, in Sunset Mall on Jumeirah Beach Road. And in May, 5àsec UAE opened the doors of its third location on Emaar Boulevard, at the main entrance of Burj Plaza next to the Palace Hotel and Souk Al Bahar. The brand will add 3,000 sqft to its Jumeirah outlet later this year and has plans to expand into Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.
