Taipei Cycle 2025 Puts Innovation in Motion

TAIPEI CYCLE 2025 concluded on March 29, with more than 980 exhibitors from 35 countries occupying 3,600 booths, solidifying its position as Asia’s largest bicycling industry exhibition. The event attracted almost 17,000 visitors from 80 countries, providing excellent business opportunities while highlighting the healthy levels of optimism in the industry. The top five buyer countries were Japan, Mainland China, the United States, South Korea, and Singapore, with vibrant onsite engagement reflecting the global industry’s growing interest in smart mobility and sustainable cycling solutions.

This year’s show continued to build on its reputation as a key global platform for the cycling industry, offering valuable opportunities for attendees to connect with top international brands and suppliers. With a strong emphasis centred around design and innovation, TAIPEI CYCLE 2025 focused on four core themes: Smart Cycling, Innovation Drive, Green Forward, and Cycling Ecosystem. These themes highlighted the industry’s focus on advancing innovation in cycling technologies.

The event attracts many international visitors excited to discover the newest advancements in cycling. Through its Green Forward theme, this year’s exhibition highlighted sustainability by recognising 35 companies for excellence in green manufacturing, circular economy practices, and low-carbon technologies. Key participants included top Taiwanese brands like KENDA, GIANT, and KMC, along with global players such as Vittoria, SRAM, reTyre, and Schwalbe. Exhibitors praised the Green Forward Guided Tours for attracting sustainability-focused buyers, with Formula Engineering expressing hope for the continued expansion of ESG initiatives in future editions.

Beyond the exhibition halls, professional riders, industry experts, and cycling enthusiasts participated in live demonstrations, test rides, and panel discussions. The Demo Area track offered attendees the opportunity to experience the latest bikes in action. With numerous connections established and new projects launched, TAIPEI CYCLE 2025 reaffirmed its status and importance in the global cycling industry.

TAIPEI CYCLE’s Bike Vision: Innovation & Startup Program showcased 11 promising startups from six countries, with the Dutch startup TILER winning the Best Rising Star Award for its innovative TILER Compact wireless charging pad. Honoured for its commercial potential, the product aims to improve convenience for e-bike riders in urban settings. The event also generated significant interest in debuting brands like Litzmo, an e-bike startup poised for international expansion.

Leading industry brands see the TAIPEI CYCLE Show as a key platform for presenting innovations and engaging with the global cycling market.
