Wizz Air Expands Payment Options with Apple Pay and Google Pay

Wizz Air has made booking and managing travel even more convenient by introducing Apple Pay and Google Pay on its mobile app. This new feature is now available on both iOS and Android devices.

By integrating these popular digital payment tools, Wizz Air continues to prioritize customer experience and offer flexible payment options. Travelers can now enjoy a quick and secure checkout process for tickets and additional services. This expansion of payment options follows the recent acceptance of Revolut cards onboard, demonstrating Wizz Air’s commitment to adapting to customer needs.

The new feature allows customers to make quick and seamless payments up to 10 days before departure, making it ideal for last-minute bookings. Over 30% of travellers prefer to purchase additional services and products at a later stage in the booking process, and nearly half of these customers use the app. With Apple Pay and Google Pay, adding additional services to a booking is now easier than ever.
