RIZEK, a tech start-up aimed at creating more jobs across the MENA region, has announced $1.5 million in seed funding. The financing has come from some of the most prominent and high-profile investors in the region, including early backers of some of the region’s most successful start-ups.

The seed round will be used to build RIZEK’s operational team across key market segments and create innovative features within its technology platform. RIZEK was founded by Abdallah Abu-Sheikh, a successful Jordanian entrepreneur.

Abu-Sheikh has extensive experience in raising capital and building high-growth businesses. Having enjoyed early success in closing more than $500m in Aviation, Energy, Real Estate and Infrastructure projects, he is now solely focused on leading the growth of RIZEK to become a market leader in its domain.
