The Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) will participate in the sixth edition of the International Franchise Exhibition. The event is organized by Abu Dhabi Chamber and will be taking place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) between 16-17 October, 2018. ACCI participation highlights the exhibition’s significance as an important commercial event that supports the UAE’s efforts to achieve its economic objectives.

The sixth edition of the exhibition is will feature numerous major international brands including, Michelin Tires, the world’s leading manufacturer of tires, and the Seven Eleven chain of convenience stores. H.E. Mohammad Helal Al Muhairi, Director-General of ADCCI, said: “Ajman Chamber’s participation underscores the exhibition’s support for the UAE vision and strategy to enhance the contribution of the private sector and achieve economic diversification objectives. Additionally, it provides further opportunities in the investment and business fields and encourages a diverse range of companies to exchange experiences and strengthen cooperation.”

H.E. Al Muhairi emphasized that the exhibition is designed to provide opportunities for the development of successful partnerships between foreign companies, entrepreneurs and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the UAE. Local and regional investors will also be provided with insights on international best practices within the franchising sector, supporting the sector’s development within the UAE and enhancing its contribution to the nation’s gross domestic product (GDP).

“In line with our strategy of encouraging Emirati entrepreneurs to engage in business and participate in the private sector, ADCCI is keen to organize the International Franchise Exhibition and contribute to the sustainable economic development of the UAE. Moreover, the Exhibition is recognized for supporting and developing SMEs by highlighting investment and partnership opportunities with leading brands across a variety of industries,” added H.E. Al Muhairi.

Hilal Mohammed Al Qubaisi, Acting Executive Director of Innovation and Business Development at ADCCI, said: “The Chamber’s organization of the sixth edition of the International Franchise Exhibition is indicative of the exhibition’s position as a leading global business event in the field of franchising. The event contributes to the expansion of the franchise base, supporting local brands and enabling companies to improve their performance and encouraging them to increase their investments in the sector – contributing to sustainable economic development within the UAE.”

Al Qubaisi highlighted that more than 100 international and local exhibitors, representing 12 diverse sectors from 15 countries, are committed to participating in the Exhibition. The event will host exhibitors from the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Canada, Italy , Jordan, India, Pakistan, Morocco, Egypt, Lebanon, Portugal, the United States, Kuwait, France and the United Kingdom.

A series of exclusive workshops for attendees will be held on the sidelines of the Exhibition, with the aim of familiarizing participants with the experiences of some of the most influential pioneers of the franchising sector. The knowledge-sharing workshops will provide attendees with the skills and information to better benefit from opportunities in the world of franchising.

Registration is now open for the introductory and training workshops that will be moderated by Essam Lootah, Executive Director of the Franchises Service. The workshops will be held in Hall Number Six, on the second floor of the Chamber’s headquarters. The first workshop will be held on Tuesday, July 24, and is titled “How to Become a Franchiser,” the second will be held on September 5th, and is titled “Contract Secrets,” and the third will be held on Wednesday, November 24, and is titled “How to choose a franchise?”

The exhibition will showcase innovative concepts and strategies to entrepreneurs and SMEs alike, while providing them with the opportunity to connect with international franchises to establish partnerships and highlight how brands can be developed regionally and internationally. The exhibition will also provide an appropriate working environment, by allocating suitable spaces that allow exhibitors, visitors and delegates to communicate and hold business meetings, and transactions.
